The Arrival of the Tuatha Dé

This illustration depicts of the arrival of the Tuatha Dé Danann, the Godfolk of Irish Mythology.

The Tuatha Dé were said to sail to Ireland on a ship made of bones that sailed through the sky before landing on a mountain top at Cornu-Belgatan, modern day Connemara, County Galway.

Here we see Sreng of the Fir Bolg tribe standing on the land, witnessing the ships approach.
